EU Returns & Right of Withdrawal Policy

 

This policy applies to customers purchasing from Eirin Apparel who are resident in a European Union (EU) member state. It is provided in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), as amended by the Omnibus Directive (2019/2161/EU).

Your Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 30 days of the day you (or a third party you have nominated, other than the carrier) receive your goods. This exceeds the 14-day minimum required by EU law.

Where your order contains multiple items delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the last item.

How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement before the withdrawal period expires. You can do this by:

You must return the goods within 14 days of the date you notify us of your withdrawal. The withdrawal period is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition
  • In original packaging with all tags attached
  • Free from perfume, deodorant, or any other marks

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. If goods are returned in a used or damaged condition, we reserve the right to make a deduction from your refund proportionate to the reduced value of the goods, up to 10% of the original purchase price.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods to us. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit on their way back to us.

Refunds

We will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or of receiving proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier).

Your refund will include the original standard delivery cost. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we will only refund the cost of our standard delivery.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

Exceptions — Items Exempt from the Right of Withdrawal

Under Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Personalised or custom-made goods — Items made to your specifications or clearly personalised cannot be returned. This includes our 'Irish Rebel' Celtic Cross Jersey – Personalised Name & Number and 'Irish Rebel' Jersey – Personalised Name & Number products. These are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund once production has commenced, except where the item is faulty or not as described.
  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons, if the seal has been broken after delivery.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy. If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us at hello@eirin.co within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
